Parking rangers have new technology to help in their fight against parking cheats. ACA took to the streets with them to test it out.

City of Sydney Council's latest weapon against these cheats is an iPad database which rangers use to instantly check a permit to see if it's legitimate.

The database also raises a red flag for permits that belong to somebody who has died.
